Borrowed Beaches [poem #426]

August 7, 2019April 24, 2022 Alina H. Hansen Writer & Poet
empty sandy ocean beach and haystack rock

Borrowed beaches

pressed with fine sand

lingering debris

of fallen trees,

bleached bones

and fish spines.

A crow caws in the distance.
