Hollowed out
scooped out
till bones
only show,
building
walls and beams
remnants of paint
covered with dust.

In May, the fog slips
Into the city nestling
Against glass and steel
I am perched at the bar and
Swim in music and murmurs
Hollowed out
scooped out
till bones
only show,
building
walls and beams
remnants of paint
covered with dust.
