Shoes, clicking and
slapping cement,
moving across
pavement moving
across tar-covered
roads moving across
tile, wood, tile wood,
carpet, moving
moving
moving.

In May, the fog slips
Into the city nestling
Against glass and steel
I am perched at the bar and
Swim in music and murmurs

Shoes, clicking and
slapping cement,
moving across
pavement moving
across tar-covered
roads moving across
tile, wood, tile wood,
carpet, moving
moving
moving.
