Heartless eyes,
drinks that engage
the star, drifting
towards the sun at
high-velocity speeds
ready to be devoured.

I saw her at the
Crossroads, black dog at her heel
A torch in her hand
Another drink, a day gone
Torch burning in the darkness

Heartless eyes,
drinks that engage
the star, drifting
towards the sun at
high-velocity speeds
ready to be devoured.
