August 18, 2019August 8, 2019 Alina H. Hansen Writer & Poet

Tea Swimming (poem #435)

August 16, 2019August 6, 2019 Alina H. Hansen Writer & Poet

Tea swimming

through cracked lips,

a scowl. The smell of

sage mixed with burning

dust, her clothes creased

and decades old. Another sip

and groan, eyes trained

to look for the worst.

Thank you for reading!
