Space [Poem #121]

December 19, 2017December 11, 2022 Alina H. Hansen Writer & Poet
scenic view of nebula in space

Space that expands, stretching every molecule

every atom until snapping back into shape.

Cycle, recycle, over millions, billions, trillions

of years. Maybe this has happened before?

bare tree on desert

The sun beats down and the fills the air with hell

and heat rises, filling every pore, filling every molecule

of being until lit with fire the sun engulfs the body.

Light in the Dark [poem #119]

December 17, 2017July 26, 2022 Alina H. Hansen Writer & Poet
gray and black galaxy wallpaper

Slipping into oblivion,

quietly ruminating,

calling into the cold body

of the world.

There is a

gap of light

that can be seen

in the distance.

It opens up and shines,

illuminating the darkness.

Free Hand #118 (Frostbite)

December 16, 2017April 2, 2022 Alina H. Hansen Writer & Poet2 Comments

Words drip like ice

and fall onto your skin

so cold, it burns until

blue skin, blue limbs

begin to rot off.

Thank you for reading my writing! I hope you will return in the future!

Free Hand #117 (Desire)

December 11, 2017April 2, 2022 Alina H. Hansen Writer & Poet

The space turns around us and eyes look cold in the night,

how do we crumble and devour each other in these ways?

That leaves us empty and longing for more, a desire

that will never be fulfilled completely.

Thank you for reading my writing! I hope you will return in the future!
