Rain pours, morning sky
glows gray fog settles low and
warm scent of coffee
flowers through the apartment
pups soft snore, murmurs in bed.

I saw her at the
Crossroads, black dog at her heel
A torch in her hand
Another drink, a day gone
Torch burning in the darkness
Rain pours, morning sky
glows gray fog settles low and
warm scent of coffee
flowers through the apartment
pups soft snore, murmurs in bed.
